NONO MANZANZA has a lot of credit for work in Congolese Rhumba and Soukous musical styles. His father was percussionist of the NATIONAL BALLET of the Democratic Republic
of Congo, and evolved within the musical staff of Disney Paris. Young NONO
began his musical experiences within the KINAXIXI group, MUSICA Which is also his first
band. He later joined the group, SIROCCO, before joining DIBLO DIBALA and his group
MATCHATCHA. With DIBLO DIBALA nd the group MATCHATCHA, NONO
MANZANZA has toured in Asia, Europe, America North and Africa. He was recruited by his father’s troop at Disney as a dancer/choreographer at Disney Park in Orlando
(USA), for one year. Back in Paris, with his friends musicians he put together a
group, “the Young Firsts” who experienced resounding success across Africa and Europe with. He left the group after laborious work to promote their album, and went solo in recent years, with his Beta 6 record label formed in 2014. He has collaborated with other Congolese artists such as Awilo Longomba, Auris Mabele, General Defao.
