The sand is an alternative rock group formed 4 years ago in the city of Murcia, during this period of time they have recorded an album called Melancholic Universe and a second recently released “Little Secrets”. In this short period of time they have been characterized by their success outside the borders, being finalists for 3 years in the prestigious contest located in the USA “International Songwriting Competition”.
They have also been finalists in London in the “Uk Songwriting Contest”.
They have also obtained 1st place in the Win some love section of the contest located in the USA “International Unsigned Only Music”
First place in the Inspire your song section of the contest located in the USA International songwriting Competition with more than 21,000 participants from more than 150 countries.
They are characterized by being a group that mixes alternative rock like Foo Fighters and the softness of the inseparable piano they carry like Colplay.

I am from the coastal area of Murcia and Alicante, I was born in Callosa de Segura, a small town and I was there until I was 20 years old, I say this because it was there where I started composing songs at the age of 14, it was a town with little future… where there was little musical culture, but I stuck to the groups that my older brother and his friends listened to, they had a group and I was amazed when I saw them and I asked the singer and guitarist to teach me how to play the guitar, that’s where it all started, I learned little but enough to start composing songs, the best thing that could be done in my town hehe, a few years later I also learned to play the piano with another friend of my brother and that opened up many more melodic possibilities for composing.
2. When did you form The Sand? Are you the lead singer of The Sand? What instruments do you play?
The Sand was born in Murcia, in the year 2019, it was just me, I had new songs and no longer had a band to play them so I called my trusted producer (Raul de Lara) and told him if he had time to listen to the songs, I went, he liked it and helped me in everything, to shape and record them. Once it was recorded I realized that I wanted to have a band, not just be me with hired musicians, so I went to some rehearsal rooms that are rented by the hour to try first drums, bassists and guitarists, it was hard, very hard, I thought I would not get what I was looking for but in the end I was lucky to find the bassist Robert and everything started to roll.
I am the singer, I play the guitar and the piano.
