Radhika Vekaria is no stranger to capturing purpose & a higher calling with the art of sound – her namesake “Radha” is the Vedic goddess of love and devotion; two concepts that are synonymous with her pursuit of music and vibratory practices. An award winning multi-instrumental sensory artist, Radhika channels healing for the future while pulling from traditions of the past. UK born, with ancestry through India and East Africa, Radhika’s music pushes the boundaries of how ancient sacred Indian music can be experienced and perceived, her sonorous and soulful voice pulling audiences into a space where heart and mind conjoin. With a heart for healing, Radhika’s early desire was medicine, specifically oncology, with a clear trajectory to Oxbridge, UK (Oxford and Cambridge University). A turn of events ensured her path to music and since then she has collaborated with an impressive array of artists and spiritual luminaries worldwide.
Radhika is the winner of the Global Peace Song awards, and the first mantra artist to perform at SXSW 2022. She has collaborated with world renowned artist Jeff Koons’ alongside voices like Rihanna, Paul McCartney and David Bowie. With a devotional path to Veda, Radhika’s music is a powerful ode to her Indian roots, philosophy and features ancient Sanskrit mantras, to heal, uplift and transform.
