InterContinental Music Awards winner Kitt Wakeley has won a GRAMMY Award for Best Classical Compendium for his album, An Adoption Story. Released on September 28, 2022, An Adoption Story explores Wakeley’s personal experiences in the foster care system and as an adoptive parent of three siblings. Just two months after its release, the album received a GRAMMY® Award nomination, and he was thrilled to learn that he had won.
Kitt Wakeley – An Electrifying Fusion of Orchestral, Rock, and EDM
Kitt Wakeley is known for his fearless and unapologetic approach to music. His unique blend of orchestral, rock, and EDM elements has garnered him a large and dedicated fanbase, and his live performances are nothing short of electrifying. Wakeley had two songs featured in the 2022 InterContinental Music Awards. “Conflicted (feat. Joe Satriani)” won in the New Age category, Best of Pangea. He also collaborated with Damian Wyldes on the winning track “Still” in the American Roots category, Best of North America.
Wakeley’s latest album, An Adoption Story, is a deeply personal work that explores his experiences in the foster care system and as an adoptive parent.
