With ~90 music awards/nominations, real-life Brother Duo (Ban in USA & Gautam in India) makes moving World/Indie Music! Old souls with fresh, contemporary sounds, they’ve worked with Grammy-winning/nominated musicians/engineers and keep collaborating with world-class musicians. Ban has also executive produced a 2022 Grammy-nominated album.
Throughout the course of their musical journey, the “Brothers” have won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life. Featuring vocalists and musicians in a variety of settings and making countless public appearances all the while recording new song versions, this talented World/Indie Music act has earned the adoration of critics and fans alike.
In 2017, their song “Chupi Chupi” won a Hollywood Music in Media Award in the World category. This song appears on their 2016 album “All About Love: Music from the Heart” (https://open.spotify.com/album/0Ni3WslkaTutyjCTAN5BB8), which peaked at #1 on One World Music Radio (OWMR) and won OWMR Best World Music/Global Fusion Album.
Ban Brothers create music in multiple languages. Even though their foray into recorded music in English is relatively recent, they are not new to it. Ban had earlier formed/fronted a “world-influenced folk-rock” band (Global Horse) based out of Athens, GA, while working toward a doctoral degree. He also founded/coordinated two regional songwriting workshops of Nashville Songwriters Association International in Athens, GA and Mississippi Delta.
