DANA JAMES PRESSON is a multi-award winning film and television media composer and independent music producer whose compositions transport listeners to new dimensions of emotion and experience. He is best known for his exceptional work on the chilling and critically acclaimed 2019 Horror/Thriller film, “Bite Club.” The film has won a staggering 13 awards and garnered an impressive 30 nominations, proving Presson’s exceptional talent and vision. His musical talent has also graced the FOX Business streaming Reality TV series, “Billion Dollar Idea,” where his music added unparalleled depth and emotion to the storytelling.

Presson’s innovative approach to music composition has been recognized by the prestigious Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) where he was nominated for “New/Emerging Composer”¹ in 2022 for his musical composition titled, “The Obscure Files Main Theme.” This accolade is a testament to his unique and innovative approach to musical composition. In 2023, Presson was nominated by the esteemed World Entertainment Awards (WEA) for “Best Orchestral Composition” for “Virtù e Fortuna.” Most recently, he won two BRONZE Medals in the 2024 Global Music Awards (GMA) for his composition, “Virtù e Fortuna,” one for “Composition” and one for “Emerging Artist.”² Moreover, Presson’s Cyber World Music swept the 2024 45th Annual Telly Awards where his music won GOLD for ‘Use of Music’ in “The Obscure Files: Teaser Video”³ and SILVER ⁴ and BRONZE⁵ for his music, “Final Resolution” in “Billion Dollar Idea.”

Presson began his illustrious career in the mid-1990s, writing title themes and instrumental beds for commercial terrestrial and internet radio programs creating unforgettable music for KOMP 92.3 Las Vegas and knac.com programs. In 1999, he founded Cyber World Music. With his exceptional ear for incredible soundscapes, Presson has become an emerging and vital voice in the world of music, leaving an indelible mark on the industry.

In the recording artist sphere, he has collaborated with Riggs (Rob Zombie), members of Ministry, Ketil Eggum (Gothminister), and others for his Industrial Rock supergroup collaboration, K.P. Riot Brigade, where he is the producer and primary songwriter.
