Dr Kanchanamala Ranasinghe – a specialist general practitioner and a senior lecturer in Medicine works and resides in Australia. However, her love for classical music drives her all the way to Sri Lanka to her homeland where she follows her passion and makes music with fellow artists. She is also an actress and portrays the role of Suppadevi in Prof Ediriweera Sarachchandra’s world renowned opera style drama Sinhanbahu where her mother and father portrayed main roles and hold the Guinness world record for the most durable theatre performers in the world.
Music composer Nalaka Anjana Kumara is renowned for his magical touch in creating music and is a highly respected senior artist in the field. Amazingly musically gifted and trained from a very young age maestro Nalaka holds the unique ability of quickly composing music without needing any instruments to do so. Nalaka has nearly 45 yrs experience in the field both in composing and performing. Nalaka also held senior positions in the music profession for many years and also works as a music director. In addition to
composing Nalaka is a highly talented guitarist and a singer as well.
Lyrics were written by a budding artist Jayamali Charitha Bandara. This is her first set of lyrics that was made into a song and we wish her well for her future endeavors. Jayamali is also a health professional and works as a registered nurse in Sri Lanka.
