Karen Salicath is a multi-award-winning Composer, Pianist, Producer, since. 2015 & Professional American Artist, painter, sculptor, and photographer for the last 30 years. Born in Denmark and living and working in NYC & Florida, voting member of the Recording Academy.
The Music Story: It wasn’t until an accident that caused a head injury and a near-death experience that Karen started to play the piano spontaneously. She had never played the piano before, and the head injury amazingly opened up a new world. She began to play and compose self-taught, beautiful, meditative music, which healed her. The music will put the listener into a relaxed state of consciousness. The accident occurred in 2012, and after a 3-year-long recovery, in 2015, she suddenly began to hear music in her dreams and decided to record & play what she was experiencing. The result is 7 Albums and 2500+ compositions, She has performed solo in Carnegie Hall eight times with her music.

– Received The Midnight Gold Record Award, a Lifetime Honor from The Midnight Record Label in NYC 2024 , for the album Angel Pollination
– Received an official Nominee for EMA, Elite Music Awards for”“Best Album of The Year” for album “Angel Hanael´s Song” and Best – Singel of The Year 2024″ for the single “Angel Calling.”
– 3 Place winner of Paris Musique Competition, in Chamber Music, for the music from the album Angel Hanael´s Song
– Winner of The Clouzine International Music Award 2024 for best Instrumental work, the Single Christmas Angel.
– Inducted into The Akademia Music Award Hall of Fame on August 10, 2023. and is the artist of the year in The Akademia Award 2023.
When Karen was eight years old, she began to play classical guitar for 15+ years. Her teacher was from The Royal Danish Academy of Music . Her wish was to become a musician at that time, but she became a professional visual artist. Instead, first, 25 years later, the music came suddenly to her again, and she was blessed with the gift of playing piano and composing music that she had never done before. Karen has been very close to Angels since she was a child. As she describes it, angels are energy, frequency, and vibration some can feel them, some can see them, and some can hear them. I wish to bring the energy of angels closer to humans in my art and music. Angels are here to bring Peace, Love, Hope, and Compassion to every human on this earth, my hope is to let them come closer to you.

She is Educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Art, School of Design in Copenhagen, 1991, Master. Worked as a painter, sculptor, and photographer for 30 years. Participated in 180+ exhibitions in Museums and galleries throughout the world, including the Louvre Museum in Paris. In recognition of her outstanding artwork, she has received many awards from the international art community, including 2 Oscar Award in Art. Her built works include several permanent public sculptures- and installations, and she is represented in 700+ private collections and is now represented by Jamali Gallery.
