Her name, Seredaw, carries a beautiful meaning bestowed by her mother, symbolizing “rendering.“

She is a musician with touching vocal abilities, skillfully interpreting the essence of each folk song, infusing abundant emotions that deeply move her audience.

Cultural background:

Seredaw was born in the Cavak tribe of Sandimen Township, Pingtung, Taiwan.

Her mother taught her to sing traditional melodies, and she actively engages in preserving the tribe’s cultural heritage.

Personal Journey:

Seredaw has been dedicating herself to teaching ancient chants in the tribe, shouldering the responsibility of cultural inheritance.

In 2018, she received recognition and praise by winning the Best Indigenous Singer award at the 29th Golden Melody Awards.
